Alexia has enjoyed a successful international business career for over 30 years, advising and leading global Fortune 500 organizations plus 15 years practicing with international law firms. She served for over a decade as the General Counsel & Chief Legal Officer for Volvo Financial Services, a global financial services organization and regulated bank with over $25billion in managed assets.

Alexia now serves the international legal and business community as an elected official and member of The Council of the Law Society of Scotland representing the international bench and as an active member of the Law Society’s International Committee liaising with domestic and foreign legislators and professional bodies to promote the rule of law and the interests of the Scottish legal profession.

Alexia is a dual-qualified attorney and remains actively licensed in the UK (Scotland) and US (New York). She graduated from the University of Strathclyde in joint first place overall and has since completed further post-graduate programs with Harvard Law School and MIT including, most recently, completing MIT’s AI Strategy & Leadership program during which her case study work on AI-augmented leadership and scalable business models won two Exemplary Achievement Awards.
As a leader of highly regulated industrial companies and mission driven organizations, building best-in-class teams, and effectively managing risk in rapidly evolving and uncertain landscapes are just a few of the strengths Alexia is known and recognized for. She is also renowned for her strong focus on execution with high impact and creative problem solving and her relentless drive for simplification and efficiency.
